Baboon Sanctuary: The Community Baboon Sanctuary was established in 1985 for the preservation of the Black Howler Monkey. With close to 13,000 acres and 200 volunteer landowners from seven villages in the Belize River Valley. The Two-hour long tour is guided by a local volunteer with a stroll through the jungle and a narration on local habitat with a wildlife viewing experience. A visit to the Baboon Sanctuary museum and over 4,000 Black Howler Monkeys in the preserve makes this tour one of the most unexpected tours in all of Belize. Don't miss this one!
